Deep Etching on Metal Cards is a special technique we do to create more depth and impact on our metal card artwork.
Metal Kards Deep Etching is done by doing multiple passes of our standard etching, to create etching that is approximately 50% depth of the card thickness. By deep etching certain portions of artwork, you can create a unique design that delivers extra impact and creative thought.
Our standard etching removes ~10% surface material, while our deep etching is ~50%. Because it does go so deep, we only are able to apply Deep Etching to one side of the card.
